Happiness is Yoga

I took my first yoga class last year in a teeny weeny stuffy gym saloon. Well, even then, I could say it was the best sportive experience I have ever had. I have fallen in love with yoga since then. I have been to couple of different yoga studios and had several different instructors. To me, the studio is as important as the instructor. When you are doing yoga, ambiance does the trick. Couple of weeks ago, I was in the best yoga studio in London. I guarantee that it is the best (of course except the parks and forests but now we are in the rainy chilly London winter and it is not an option.)

The studio looks like a secret cottage in the middle of a garden. They have skylights which make you feel great. Also, there was a relaxing smell of smudge stick, lovely and professional instructors. So, if all of these don’t make this place the best yoga studio in London, what else would do? Please give yourself a treat and try Battersea Yoga. Unfortunately I couldn’t take so many photos last time I was there, but you can check their website:

I don’t say because I’m a petite woman, but sometimes little things can make your life better. A macaroon, a little marshmallow on hot chocolate or this little Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion! Before meeting with this little friend, I thought primers are not necessary. I believed that any moisturising cream could do the same. But I was totally wrong. Silky feeling, long lasting effect, making colours of eyeshadows more natural and again silky feeling! I really don’t think that I can ever use eyeshadow without Urban Decay primer. Oh, this little impressive thing… I guess we have so many common stuff with it and we will have a long term relationship! Love it!

Feminist. Intelligent. Gorgeous.

Simone de Beauvoir

  • One is not born a woman, but becomes one.
  • The most mediocre of males feels himself a demigod as compared with women.
  • Change your life today. Don’t gamble on the future, act now, without delay.
  • I wish that every human life might be pure transparent freedom.

That’s what she said! She is a feminist writer who lived between 1908-1986. She extremely disturbed someone, she made a conquest of somebody, but sure she left a scar in the last century.
She had a significant influence on both feminist existentialism and feminist theory. Her well known book which is called The Second Sex was a detailed analysis of women’s oppression and a foundational tract of contemporary feminism. She had a famous lover (Jean Paul Sartre) but she never stayed in his shadow. She wrote novels, essays, biographies, autobiography and monographs on philosophy, politics and social issues. Source: Wikipedia

I feel so lucky to get an opportunity to visit this exhibition before it ended. I have never been impressed by an exhibition this much. It was opponent and aesthetic. It reminds Banksy a little bit. Personally I really like art with a contradictory words and an attitude. I believe this type of art should speak its own language. Here you are some “popular” pieces from the exhibition. Tate Modern: 17 September 2015 – 24 January 2016

It covers up as much as a foundation, it looks natural as much as BB cream. It is my “I can’t live without it” makeup product. It gives me a new baby skin when I apply. It looks so natural that I can easily lie “I am not wearing any makeup today.” It is the best to complete gorgeous looks of gorgeous women!

Never underestimate the power of eyes! I think they are our most shiny jewellery. That’s why even in ancient Egypt, women were using coal to make their eyes more remarkable. So, why shouldn’t we use more practical make up products in 2016!!!
Eye shadows were definitely the most popular make up product of last year. And I’m sure eye shadows will keep their very same reputation in 2016 too. Therefore, I would like to introduce you my eye-friends!
It is creamy and long lasting. So, it meets all I want from an eye shadow. It is really a life saver. You can apply it with finger or brush. It is really easy. Stila started to be one of my fave makeup brand.
It is perfect to apply, creamy, but unfortunately it is not long lasting. It is very shiny and also a wallet friendly choice.
It is long lasting but a bit dry to apply. And only way to apply is by brush. Personally I like creamy shadows but still this is a good quality product.
This is absolutely my star. T. Leclerc eye shadow is like a cream. It is shiny. It looks really natural and elegant. Very easy to apply. Every time it gives me amazing eyes in a minute. This is my favourite make up product of all. I recommend everyone to try it!

Cheeky or fancy, bashful or cool, humble or swanky… It doesn’t matter who you are, you can complete your style with pearls. Pearls suit with any style and identity. You can find millions of reasons to like them: they make you look elegant, cool, smart, chic or whatever you wish.
I guess my reason for liking them is that they are unique. They look similar but each pearl is different. Maybe that’s why pearls go with any style and good for any occasion.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

IMG_2112Correct me if I’m wrong but I guess she is the first smartass woman presented by Hollywood. She is the perfect example of “You can be beautiful and smart, cute and charismatic at the same time, there is no obstacle for it”.  I can easily say the word ‘gorgeous’ was invented by someone who met her. If you still haven’t guessed who I am talking about, you probably think I exaggerate. But when you read her name in the coming line, I’m sure you will agree with me. Any compliment wouldn’t be too much when we talk about Audrey Hepburn. Her style, her talent, her beauty and actually her existence deserve it all.

Who wouldn’t fall in love with her after seeing Breakfast at Tiffany’s? (Man or woman, it doesn’t matter)

Truman Capote’s genius and Hepburn’s talent made love and then they had a baby called Breakfast at Tiffany’s. After 55 years, she is still the most fascinating and iconic woman in Hollywood.

And I should also mention Tiffany & Co. I don’t know whose idea it was, but they made the best sponsorship agreement ever made in the world. It is the most effective advertising campaign which is so influential even after 55 years. So many women around the world visit Tiffany & Co. stores everyday just because nothing very bad could happen to you there.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

IMG_2651First time in my life, I bought a make-up product just because of its advertising and I am not ashamed of that. I took the bait but I don’t not regret! I am talking about Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I really feel happy for this ‘naughty’ advertising language for women products. It is kind of new and I absolutely love it. I see it courageous towards women freedom. I know that doesn’t mean a lot if we think about all gender inequalities but still this advertising language cheers me up. I also like ‘Balm Cosmetic’ and ‘Soap and Glory’ for the very same reason. I buy these brands not only because they are nice but also I would like to show to the owners of these brands that this language is working and keep going with that! You can be sure that women like to have something that is better than sex!!!

It is absolutely an amazing product for more volume and dramatic look. The brush of the mascara is so useful and it is very easy to apply. It is volumising but not sticky. Unfortunately it is not very long lasting and not waterproof. To sum up, it is lovely and dramatic, like most of us!!
